Unfortunately, it is true (for now). I'm sure there will be litigation in the courts to try to prevent this. Details are scarce.

You can't support yourself on $6,900 per year. You definitely cannot support two people. So if that's your argument, yes--it is a major problem.

Everyone who is found guilty will be sentenced. The questions are whether you will be found guilty and what the sentence will be. Hire a lawyer.
