Dennis E. Vega

Dennis Vega is a distinguished Partner at Foley Mansfield’s New York City office. With a focus on defending equipment and product manufacturers, premises owners, and municipalities, Dennis specializes in product liability, environmental and toxic tort, maritime law, and general liability litigation. He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, having handled cases across various states and federal courts along both coasts of the United States.

Dennis has served as national, regional, or local counsel for several global industrial equipment manufacturers, distributors, and contractors in the power, oil, chemical, railroad, and automotive industries. He provides strategic counsel to corporate clients and scientists, advising on product selection for laboratory testing and developing sophisticated exposure models for litigation and trial purposes. Dennis also coordinates with renowned scientific and medical expert witnesses and serves as lead counsel in significant coordinated proceedings, including the New York City Asbestos Litigation (NYCAL) and Multidistrict Litigation (MDL).

His career began at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where he earned a position in the Trial Bureau and successfully prosecuted and tried several high-profile cases to verdict. He later represented major New York City teaching hospitals and public hospitals, as well as their affiliated healthcare professionals, in complex legal matters. During law school, Dennis was the executive editor of the Cardozo Women’s Law Journal and represented his school in national trial competitions.
