I am a former New Jersey Deputy Attorney General and former Deputy Banking Commissioner. i am corrently the Executive Director and Counsel forThe Mortgage Bankers Association of New Jersey. I am also a Principal Attorney at Offit Kurman, P.A. I specialize in the representation of financial institutions and mortgage companies in their dealings with state and federal regullators  this includes working with state regulators in in settling matters involving alleged violations of license and other laws and handling contested administrative hearings. I have also chartered banks In New Jersey and drafted legislation dealing with banks and mortgage companies   I am currently the Chaiman of the Industry Advisory Council for the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulatit's.
