Lawrence C. Weiner

Lawrence Weiner is a commercial litigation partner who represents businesses and individuals in complex contract, real estate, shareholder, and creditor disputes, guiding matters from pre-suit strategy through trial, appeal, and alternative dispute resolution.

Lawrence is a Partner of the Firm’s Litigation Department and has extensive experience handling commercial litigation from inception through resolution. His practice includes breach of contract claims, commercial real estate brokerage disputes, fraud claims, enforcement of restrictive covenants, commercial tenancy disputes, shareholder/partnership disputes and dissolutions, creditor’s rights and appellate advocacy. He regularly seeks and defends applications for injunctive and other equitable relief and has successfully argued before both state and federal appellate courts. Lawrence also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, representing clients in mediations and arbitrations.

Lawrence graduated with a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and received his law degree from Rutgers Law School – Newark.

Lawrence recently co-authored a chapter in NJICLE’s Commercial Real Estate Transactions in New Jersey entitled “Brokerage Agreements and Related Considerations.” In addition, he has been featured or mentioned in articles published by The New York Times, LAW360 and The Real Deal. Lawrence is admitted in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York.
