Brian Block

A multifaceted litigation partner, Brian M. Block blends deep courtroom experience with leadership in appellate advocacy, ethics, and community service.

Brian is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department, where he maintains a broad and sophisticated practice encompassing commercial and corporate litigation, intellectual property disputes, insurance fraud matters, banking litigation, employment matters, and False Claims Act cases, along with related appellate work. He represents both individuals and businesses in complex disputes in state and federal courts, offering strategic, results-driven advocacy at every stage of litigation and pre-litigation. Brian has argued high stakes cases before both state and federal appeals courts, as well as before the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

In addition to his litigation practice, Brian has also served as an appointed member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District VB Ethics Committee since 2021 and currently serves as its Vice-Chair, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional responsibility and ethical standards.

Prior to joining the Firm, Brian served as a Law Clerk to Justice Anne M. Patterson on the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers School of Law – Camden, where he earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude.
