David Lewis Margolin

My name is David L. Margolin. Since 1984, I have owned and operated my own real estate development company, American Construction Co., LLC. I developed warehouse/office buildings in the mid to late 1980s. In later years, I developed "spot" high end homes on speculation. During the real estate recession of the late 1980s, I went back to school, as up until that time I only had a GED diploma, having dropped out of school when I was 15 years of age. I continued my schooling until in 1999, wherein I received a JD (with honors) from Seton Hall School of Law. All throughout my business career and during my time spent in school, I had been actively involved as an investor in the stock market. I was doing quite well until January 10, 2000, when the dot com bubble burst. Over the next year and a half, my portfolio (like many others), was decimated. I lost millions... Even though I never recovered completely from that downfall, I am still an investor and know quite a bit more than a "novice" investor. I was never talented as a trader, but had a better "stomach" for investing. I am married with two 16-year-old twins, whom I am immensely proud of. Aside from the above, the only consequential aspect of my life worth mentioning is that I am facing financial difficulties since losing my job in 2016 with American GR Heintz Aircraft, LLC, due to the same going out of business. Therefore, I am the perfect candidate for a new career!
