Attorney Amy Zylman Shimalla is an accomplished family lawyer who has been practicing since 1986. She is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a matrimonial attorney. She is also an accredited divorce and family mediator, a trained arbitrator, and a collaboratively trained practitioner. Ms. Shimalla is licensed to practice in New Jersey, before the U.S. District Court District of New Jersey, and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Shimalla earned her B.S. from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. Her writing has been published in “New Jersey Family Lawyer” on several occasions and she is the co-author of “New Jersey Family Law ADR Handbook.” Ms. Shimalla has lectured and spoken on panels and at various events and has received numerous awards for her legal work.
