Stacey Valentine Fielding

Ms. Fielding primarily focuses her practice on estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates.  As such, she drafts complex estate planning documents for our clients and structures, manages and administers estates and trusts.  She also concentrates on income, estate, inheritance, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues.  Additionally, Ms. Fielding assists our clients in implementing small business planning, including the formation of small businesses and professional associations.

Ms. Fielding is admitted to the New Jersey and New York State Bars and is available to meet with clients in our Morristown or Manhattan offices.  Before joining Edward Wacks & Associates, LLC, Ms. Fielding worked for a large New Jersey law firm in the Trusts and Estates and Tax departments.  She joined Edward Wacks & Associates in 2014.

Ms. Fielding is a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law where she graduated cum laude, in 2011.  In addition to graduating with honors, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William D. Broadhurst and the Honorable Clifford R. Weckstein of the Roanoke City Circuit Court in Roanoke, Virginia.  Ms. Fielding also worked as a Burks Scholar, teaching legal research and citation to first year law students.  While at Washington and Lee, she served as the Senior Article Editor of the Journal of Energy, Climate and the Environment, acted as the Negotiations, Client Counseling and Mediation Administrator for the Moot Court Board, and placed fourth in the National ABA Mediation Competition, in addition to taking first place in the Regional and Local mediation competitions. 

Prior to attending Washington and Lee, Ms. Fielding graduated from Colgate University, magna cum laude, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Women’s Studies. 

Ms. Fielding is a member of the Bernardsville Chamber of Commerce and she currently serves as the Chair of the New Jersey Chapter of the Colgate Lawyers Association and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Morris County Chapter of BW NICE (Business Women Networking Involving Charity and Education).
