Mark J. Cintron

Mark Cintron disregarded his website guarantees and his own retainer agreement. I retained Mark Cintron on August 31,2015, and as per said agreement paid him $1,500 as his flat legal fee and $350 for expenses. On September 24 having complied with Mr. Cintron's requests for information, but havi...ng received no deliverables or indeed answers to my many calls and texts to Mr Cintron's cell, while his assistant Maria invariably repeated that Mr. Cintron would call me "in a couple of days, I put stop payments on both checks. The stop payments brought about a response and promises, yet almost a month elapsed before I received the first deliverable on October 22, 2015. I own my house and had some guests who refused to leave. Time was of the essence, and Mr Cintron's procrastination damaged my position. Again, I informed Mr. Cintron I was no longer retaining him as my attorney, and wanted a full reimbursement of his legal fees. He finally reimbursed me $700 of the $1,850 I had paid him. He wanted me to state I was satisfied with the reimbursement as a prerequisite, but I refused, and he finally relented. Mr. Cintron did not respect the agreement he himself wrote and signed. Later protestations to justify his ignoring it, I.e. that he had given me a discounted price, were never communicated to me until it was time to contest my request for reimbursement. Moreover, , Mr Cintron, should know that only what he signs counts, not what might or might have not crossed his mind prior to signing. His way of prorating is disingenuous. Would he have us believe that he charges nothing or almost nothing to go to Court?
