I'm an attorney, and I recommend Dennis Shlionsky. I was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries in late 2023, and by early 2024, my matter had essentially been resolved. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible work Dennis Shlionsky and his team did on my personal injury case. A few years ago on Thanksgiving morning, I was driving to my family home with a friend, eagerly anticipating the feast (and warmth) that awaited us there.... But suddenly, everything changed in an instant. A dump truck collided with my car, sending me spinning out of control. From the beginning, there were doubts and accusations against me and my friend who was in the car with me. The dump truck driver and several alleged witnesses said that I was actually a passenger in my own car driven by my "intoxicated" friend. The police charged my friend with drunk driving and the dump trick's insurance company refused to pay. It was a nightmare, and I felt like I had nowhere to turn. Thank God Dennis Shlionsky took over my case from another attorney and proved that the dump truck driver was at fault for the accident, despite earlier witness statements to the contrary. He fought tirelessly and proved that the dump truck driver was actually at fault. My friend's drunk driving charges were finally dropped and his name was cleared! But that was only the beginning! I never imagined the long and difficult road ahead of me. Prior to this accident, I had already undergone two cervical fusion procedures due to a history of spine issues. The accident only made matters worse, but the pandemic only added to the complexity of my situation. I was hesitant to see a doctor during the height of the outbreak. It took me a year to finally see a doctor, and eventually, I had a one level fusion about 2 years after the accident. I didn't have any physical therapy in between and, unfortunately, the insurance company didn't relate my injury to the accident at all. Despite my hesitancy, Mr. Shlionsky was completely understanding and empathetic of my situation. Even on weekends, Mr. Shlionsky made himself available to answer my questions. I cannot thank him enough for helping navigate my medical and billing issues and helping me make informed decisions throughout the process. In the end, Mr. Shlionsky shifted the trajectory of my life. The $600,000 settlement may seem like just a number to some, but for me, it represents the ability to move forward with my life, to seek the medical treatment that I need, and to provide for my family.
