This is done quite often, but you will have to talk to your lender about it to see if they will accept it. It is legally permissible though.

I got a ticket 39:4:126. Can this be downgraded to a non-moving violation if i talk to the prosecutor? Or do I need a lawyer?

I agree with Mr. Aalsberg, the offer from the prosecutor (if any) will likely be different if you retain counsel.
