So a little synopsis of my case. I was in a abusive relationship with my partner. We are both in the military and I reported him. My ex turned around and put a restraining order through civil court in hope that I would get kicked out. I try to make amends with the situation by requesting a permanent ...transfer. When I went to court the first time my ex refused to drop the charges. I made the judge aware of the situation and she advised me to file a counter restraining order since I was the abused. Because my military career was on the line, I seeked counsel. I called Rutgers law association and found Jake... Jake met with me right away and assured me that all will be well. He walk me through every step and every possible outcome. He assured me he would support me in any decision I made. We than reached the agreement that I would have a written consent of him staying away from me and he needed to remove his name from my lease. The "adversary" than insisted that I do not follow the TRO dismissal with charges. Jake advised me against that. With the being said he was able to get the adversary to drop that from the agreement... It was very emotional for me dealing with all this and Jake followed up on me and made sure that emotionally I was okay. Once the final decision was made Jake once again checked up on me and offered advise on my rights for a domestic assault charge. He advised me that I was still within the stature of limitation and he would be willing to help me through that process... Jake was young but amazing... Very knowledgable and aggressive. He is very honest which is what I needed. He is down to earth and easy to talk to... I would recommend him to anyone he needs someone young, eager and aggressive. He loves what he does and it's definitely not all about the dollar signs for him... He saved my military career and I would definitely recommend him to any veteran in need of a lawyer!!!
