Mark P. Dugan

Mark P. Dugan, born and raised in Union County, New Jersey, is a Lehigh University graduate with a B.S. in Business and Economics (Accounting) and holds a Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a Samuel Belkin Scholar in Corporate Law. His practice concentrates on business law and commercial litigation, acting frequently as outside general counsel for closely held companies and nonprofit organizations—from formation and tax-exempt applications through ongoing corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and transactional work such as asset and stock purchases, commercial real estate, and land use matters. Mr. Dugan also handles estate planning and administration, probate and trust litigation, employment matters, landlord–tenant disputes, and commercial litigation. He has served as Township Attorney (Hillside; currently Clark), is an appointed R.1:40 mediator, and is admitted in NJ, NY, PA, DC, as well as several federal courts including the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, EDPA, SDNY, and the Third Circuit. He provides pro bono counsel to St. Joseph Social Center and serves on the Board of Trustees of The Roncoli Foundation.
