John Jules Stern

Since 1980, I have gained an unusually broad range of experience in litigating and trying cases in the state and federal trial and appellate courts in New York and New Jersey. The cases I have handled include reported decisions in the areas, among others, of antitrust, class action, condominium law, consumer fraud, constitutional law, construction defect, gambling law and legal malpractice,  The only significant specialties in which I have not handled cases are in the fields of criminal and family law.  I have also lectured for several years at William Paterson University on education law.

I am very creative in my approach to resolving client problems and litigation management.  As a result I have been elected by my peers as a New Jersey Monthly Magazine “Super Lawyer” in business litigation since 2005. I have been peer rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubble since my fourth year in practice.  I have been listed in Who's Who in American Law since 1985.  I have been named the top Chancery Attorney in Bergen County by (201) Magazine.
