“This matter involved a 1989 insolvent/collapsed real estate partnership with a builder who was also a client and concerned his claim that he was not aware that I had loaned several hundred thousand dollars to the partnership and that he did not authorize the repayment to myself of part of those loans. The court found I indeed had loaned the partnership the money I claimed, but sanctioned me for entering a business relationship with a client and not putting in writing our arrangement.”
