I have assisted hundreds of families in the settlement of estates throughout Fairfield County, CT and beyond.I appear both as Executor and as counsel to the Executor, and in those capacities prepare probate and estate tax and income tax documents required at the heart of the estate settlement process.

Estate planning including review of client's goals for distribution of estate, review of tax issues and consequences in order to minimize estate and gift tax erosion of assets, review and advise re titling of assets and beneficiary designations on nonprobate assets, to assure client's goals will be met.

The focus of my tax practice is estate, gift, and generation-skipping-transfers (GST) tax planning.

Prepare trusts as needed and suited to achieve client's goals. Avoidance of probate, creditor protection and minimizing impact of transfer taxes both federal and state, as well as to provide a reliable asset management vehicle, are the prominent goals and reasons for the creation of trusts for clients.
