Although Dan is highly qualified at real estate and a likable guy, he and the realtor who used him for me ,the seller, had me thinking from the beginning they were in cahoots with the other side giving not one but three extensions totaling an extra month telling me the buyer left the country and cou...ldn’t sign paperwork electronically. Meanwhile her condo went on sale, price dropped and then went under contract amazingly at each extension. When I finally did get through this horrible ordeal with these two , he held money $10,000 in escrow (a contract that he had me sign protecting them but not me when they don’t return my funds on time ) until I moved out on time with a threat of delinquent charges $250 a day if I did not. When I did move out on the 3rd they spent 3 days playing dumb and telling me excuses why they had not returned money that they held. If they weren’t trying to be vindictive then they are just straight up bad at what they do because everything is days later. Not only that I asked Dan about my escrow from Danbury taxes at closing a few times if it was in my payment from seller. Never answered correctly. When I finally got an email on the afternoon of Aug 6 that they were releasing the funds there was over $1500 from tax escrow that he ignored when I asked. I would never tell anyone to go to this firm and work with Dan or his compadre in real estate . They would never admit it but I feel in my heart these two were having fun paying me back for calling out all the nonsense . No proof but we go with our gut.
