Things have gone consistently in my favor over the years thanks to Attorney Levy. In most cases agreements were made in court, but in a recent hearing he totally blew me away. I would not recommend Steve. He is only interested in his fees. He will sell you on a bill of goods and not do anything. He has given me advice that put me in contempt and lied. His original $5000 retainer for a simple divorce in a marriage over a year ending in bankruptcy with no assets, I ended up... with fees over $23,000.. The Litchfield Court where he works out of is a joke. The court house is so old its impossible to function efficiently. Which was great for Steve,, billed and billed. I asked him to file a motion to make my ex pay for any frivolous motion as the legal fees and time off work buried me. HE had from September till April , never filed although I was dragged to court by my ex and the GAL, Maureen also a worthless Attorney , and never was the motion filled. He rang up over $3000 in fees for nothing.

I would not recommend this attorney. He is not organized, does not respond to clients concerns in a timely fashion and when he does he is not always understanding. He appears to be too busy to focus on your case and tends to do what he wants without always consulting with his client first. Most ti...mes you arrive in court and he is trying to squeeze in as many cases as he can. It was interesting to learn from a handful of his former clients that they had experienced the same thing you had. Outrageous bills with little results. His attitude is very poor as well. I can definitely see how he has been reprimanded by the board what I don't understand is why only once.
