Outstanding Special Education Lawyer!!

Jennifer Laviano is the best special education lawyer you can get, hands down. She is an expert at the games school districts play and will go toe-to-toe with their lawyers to get your child what they need. She handled a very tricky, very emotional case for us and not only got our child a school pl...acement that changed his life, she went back a few years later and KEPT him at that life-changing school when the district tried to drag him away. We were told from other experts we would NEVER get or keep our child at this particular school. Jennifer Laviano did that. She was (and remains) a fearless advocate for our family. I highly recommend her book as well -- Your Special Education Rights, What Your School District Isn't Telling You.

Incredibly knowledgable and responsive

We contacted Jennifer as a result of a recommendation from our family attorney. We found Jennifer to be accessible, responsive in a moment of urgency, incredibly knowledgable and measured in her consultation. She was able to quickly understand the context of our issue, provide us with a 3-step act...ion plan on how to proceed, and ultimately helped us resolve the issue before resorting to mediation or other legal action. We were so impressed with her acumen and we are grateful for the pragmatic way in which she approaches her work. We highly recommend working with her. Jennifer, thank you so much!

Outstanding Legal Support for the Special Needs Student

We highly recommend the Law Offices of Attorney Jennifer Laviano. Attorney Laviano was a powerful advocate on behalf of our special needs child and family as we worked through the complex process of obtaining educational opportunity, accommodations and support within and beyond the public school envi...ronment. We found Attorney Laviano and her staff to be knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Jen Laviano is one of the brightest stars in the special education attorney and advocacy community. Those of us in this unique niche practice area share a goal: improving education for children with disabilities, one of the most vulnerable student populations in our public school systems. Jen is thoroughly committed to this cause, and while running a thriving law practice, she also takes the time to assist her fellow attorneys and advocates with the thorniest issues arising in their own practices. Her dedication to the rights of children with disabilities is admirable."
