I am an owner/principal in a Connecticut law firm, the head of the firm's insurance department, specializing in insurance related litigation. I have thirty years of significant litigation experience in state and federal courts and before all types of ADR forums. I am admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York, US District Court Connecticut, US Court of Appeals, Second Circuit and Supreme Court of the United States. I have an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell

I also spend a significant amount of time representing plaintiff's in all types of personal injury claims.

I and a team of associate attorneys also handle complex commercial litigation.

Lastly, a growing part of my practice consists of acting as a Mediator and Arbitrator to assist in the resolution of personal injury claims.


EXPERIENCE:
JANUARY, 1993 TO PRESENT:

In 1994 I started the insurance defense department at Goldstein and Peck, P.C., an AV rated general practice firm in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Goldstein and Peck, P.C.is an AV rated law firm listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Directory of Preeminent Lawyers in the categories of Personal Injury, Insurance Defense and General Practice, among other categories.

I handle all phases of casualty claims involving personal injury, property loss, consequential damages and insurance coverage claims from inception of the file to conclusion. I also serve on numerous arbitration panels hearing all types of litigated claims.

I also represent personal injury plaintiffs and handle various other matters including construction litigation, general litigation, commercial litigation and real estate transactions.

I have also independently handled dozens of jury trials to conclusion, through appeal when necessary, as well as arbitration and mediation hearings.

I am an Arbitrator and Mediator for American Arbitration Association, Litigation Alternatives, Dispute Resolutions, Inc.
