Alinor Clemans Sterling

Alinor is dedicated to wielding the law to combat injustice, demonstrating this commitment through her impactful legal practices. She spearheaded the landmark case against Remington Arms Company for families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, achieving a $73 million settlement and document disclosures compared to the pivotal tobacco cases. Alinor also represented these families in a libel suit against Alex Jones, resulting in a $1.5 billion verdict. Her appellate achievements include Soto v. Bushmaster, enabling the case against Remington, and Lafferty v. Jones, affirming sanctions for litigation misconduct. Additionally, she upheld significant damages in Munn v. The Hotchkiss School and Gagliano v. Danbury Hospital. A former President of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Alinor serves on its key committees and holds board positions with Public Justice and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas.
