Alicia R. Kinsman, Esq. obtained her JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010. In addition to direct legal service, Attorney Kinsman provides training and support on issues related to immigration and human trafficking, to medical professionals, law enforcement personnel, social service providers and others across the state. She is a POST certified law enforcement instructor in Connecticut, in the areas of Immigration Law and Human Trafficking. She is an appointed member of the Trafficking in Persons Council. In 2013 Attorney Kinsman was awarded an FBI Field Directors Award and in 2018, the Connecticut Immigrant and Refugee Coalition presented her with the Myra Oliver Award for her work with immigrants and refugees.

"Over the last eight years, I have been consistently impressed by Attorney Kinsman’s advocacy on behalf of her clients and found her to be both knowledgeable and effective in her practice of immigration law."
"Alicia is not only a phenomenal attorney, but a wonderful supervisor, colleague and person. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding immigration law, including everything from family-based cases to humanitarian relief to grounds of inadmissibility. She also has significant expertise in handling victim-based cases, including Us, Ts, and VAWA petitions. Alicia is a zealous advocate for her client, and she is also deeply compassionate and empathetic. As evidenced by the close, trusting relationships her clients have with her, she is able to put her clients at ease and ensure they feel comfortable speaking openly about difficult topics. Additionally, Alicia is an outstanding teacher and public speaker, with an innate ability to present complex, fact-heavy information in an accessible, digestible manner. I would wholeheartedly recommend Alicia to anyone looking for a professional, highly skilled attorney whose huge breadth of experienced is rivaled only by her equally large heart."
