The law is in my blood. My Grandfather was a lawyer and Judge, having graduated from both Yale College and then Yale School of Law before embarking upon his law practice in 1928. My dad Joseph and his twin brother Bernard joined that practice in 1963. In 1988 I graduated from Boston College Law School to continue the third generation of our family's preactice of law in the State of Connecticut. I have enjoyed the practice of law and the personal and professional benefits that it has provided my family and I.
I live in North Haven, Connecticut with my wife Karen and three children, Brett, Daphne and Clara. My wife and I are active supporters of the public school system in Town who we have charged with the education of our three children and have been thrilled at the job our system has done. We are also very active in the Town's youth lacrosse program which all three of our kids have participated. I have coached in both the boys and girls programs and still am coaching my daughter Clara's team.
I am an avid sports fan--both collegiate and professional. It is an interest that has flowed over into my professional life. I have written many articles on sports law. I am the founder of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. I have been a member of the Walter Camp Football Foundation for over 20 years and served as the President of that fine organizartion from 2000-2002.
