Shannon Mae Jakubowski

Shannon is a litigation attorney at Dolan Divorce Lawyers. Shannon handles family law matters for the firm including divorce, custody, child support, post judgment matters, and restraining order cases. Shannon also offers consulting and review counsel services. Prior to joining Dolan Divorce Lawyers, Shannon was an Associate Attorney at Happy Even After Family Law in Hamden, CT handling family law matters.

Shannon graduated from the University of New Haven with her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in criminal justice. After graduate school, Shannon began her professional career as an Advocate and, subsequently, a Shelter Case Manager for the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services at BHCare. Shannon later transitioned to a paralegal position with Happy Even After Family Law. While employed in this position, Shannon received her JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law, summa cum laude, graduating 9th in her class. Shannon graduated with concentrations in both family law and civil advocacy & dispute resolution. At Quinnipiac, Shannon was a member of the Phi Delta Phi National Honor Society and was the recipient of the Christopher Bannerman Memorial Scholarship, the Academic Excellence Award, the Superior Classroom Performance Award, and Service to the Law School Award.

Outside of work, Shannon spends her free time with her husband, daughter, and two rescue dogs.
