Nicole Christine Mather

Nicole C. Mather is a litigation attorney at Dolan Divorce Lawyers, where she represents clients in complex divorce, custody, asset division, support, and other family law matters. Attorney Mather has substantial family law experience throughout Connecticut, including significant experience in Fairfield County handling high-asset, high-net-worth, and high-conflict divorce and custody cases.

Attorney Mather brings a strong but practical approach to family law litigation. She understands that clients need both effective advocacy and realistic advice, particularly when a case involves complicated finances, contested parenting issues, or emotionally charged disputes. Before joining Dolan Divorce Lawyers, Attorney Mather served as a senior litigation attorney at a national family law firm, where she practiced exclusively in family law. She began her legal career in New York handling a broad range of litigation matters before focusing her practice on Connecticut family law in 2017. She remains licensed to practice law in both Connecticut and New York. Attorney Mather also brings meaningful insight to cases involving children with special needs, including matters where parenting plans, educational services, communication, and long-term planning require careful attention. Her experience helps her guide clients through custody disputes with both legal strategy and sensitivity to the practical realities facing families.

Attorney Mather earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology, from Fairfield University and received her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School. She has received New England Super Lawyers Rising Star recognition for her work in family law.
