I hired this attorney to represent me for a workers compensation claim. The claim was initially contested given insufficient evidence. In response I researched and collected the missing evidence with the aid of treating physicians and hired this attorney to submit and represent me. Upon review...ing the new evidence with him, he was almost certain that it would be sufficient to obtain an approval but to our suprise that was not the case. Six months later, I was deposed during wich, I referred back to the new evidence and opposing council knew nothing about any new evidence. I insisted on its existence as I had personally gathered and haded to my attorney who confirmed submission. After opposing council attested repeatedly that no such evidence was ever submitted, reality became apparent and attorney Armas submitted the evidence for the 1st time during the deposition. Attorney Jeffery Armas had been deliberately misleading and deceiving me while he withheld evidence supporting my claim and after that I fired him. After firing him, I learnt that he had approved the same physician who had rendered an opinion opposing my claim, for my commissioners exam and fortunately, I fired him the day before the commissioners exam was to be scheduled.
