About Richard
Biography
Attorney Feldman practices in the areas of commercial litigation and transactions, acquisitions and sales of privately held businesses and commercial and residential real estate. He represents national and regional banks, leasing, finance and mortgage and security companies in financing transactions, foreclosures and workouts, portfolio sales and related litigation. He is a member of the Commercial Arbitration Panel of the American Arbitration Association and has decided complex multiparty arbitration cases and represented clients before arbitrators.
Richard is a longstanding member of the Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors and a member and former chairman of the Association’s Legal Committee. As a member of the Executive Committee of the Commercial Law section of the Connecticut Bar Association he has presented seminars to the Connecticut Bar introducing and explaining Article 2A of the Uniform Commercial Code, Personal Property Leasing, as recently adopted in Connecticut. He authored the chapter, “Warranties”, in the Mathew Bender treatise Equipment Leasing .
