A few years ago, my wife was viciously attacked by our neighbor’s pit bull in the front yard of our home. She went to the emergency room at Mid- State Hospital where she received numerous stitches on her face to close wounds caused by the dog. Following the incident, she suffered post traumatic str...ess and was treated at the Franciscan Life Center. After considering other attorneys, we decided to engage Mr. Andrew Dwyer as our lawyer to pursue a lawsuit against our neighbor. After our depositions, the plaintiff’s insurance company, realizing we were thoroughly prepared to go to trial, increased their settlement offer to an amount we were satisfied with, and the case was settled. Hi everyone. I am here today to share with you a little bit about my experience with Andrew P. Dwyer. (He was my Personal Injury Lawyer). I had a car accident in Nov/2012, so I went to see a lawyer in Greenwich and he wasn't able to do anything for me because my "case was too small" for him, but he... recommended me his friend: Mr. Dwyer. I had a meeting with the other person's Car Insurance and there they made an offer of less than $5,000 (of course, I said no). After that I decided to hire Mr. Dwyer and it was be best thing that I have ever done. He was very understanding, professional and carefully looked at my case. All he needed was some information and then he took care of the rest. So, after three years of going to doctors, hospitals, exams, etc... in May/2016 we finally closed the case. We settled for a fair amount of $52,198.
