also known as Robert Heering, Heering Law, PLLC
Robb began his legal career in the early 1980's working on behalf of IBM in a landmark antitrust case. While associated with the distinguished Wall Street firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Robb began to hone his skills as a federal regulatory litigator. Fast forward a few years and Robb found himself as a real estate attorney at the corporate headquarters of United Parcel Service (UPS). While at UPS, Robb handled real estate acquisitions and disposals in more than 30 states as well as handling airport properties and ad valorem taxation litigation in more than 300 taxing jurisdictions.
Following his career in-house at UPS, Robb decided to return to his hometown in Connecticut to establish a boutique law firm. Robb's practice centered on residential real estate with a continued yet limited practice handling Federal regulatory defense matters.
Robb's abilities as an attorney are supercharged by his personal experiences in related businesses. Robb has created, folded, sold, exited and operated more than a dozen businesses in the last 3 decades including restaurants, shipping and packaging centers, a multi-state licensed mortgage lending operation, a chain of more than 100 residential real estate offices in 22 states and 4 countries, a 501c3 non-profit, a consumer products company and more. Robb has extensive experience in the representation of nationwide clients in CFPB and Credit Bureau related Consumer Law matters, as well as HUD, HUD-OIG, CFPB and FHA matters. Robb is admitted to practice law in all Connecticut state courts, the US District Court for the Federal Districts of Connecticut, and Southern New York and has appeared pro hac vice on behalf of clients in 12 United States Federal District Courts. As a federal and state litigator, he has more than 200 cases under his belt with a stellar reputation.
As of 2018 Robb has primarily restricted his practice by choice to residential real estate transactions. As a real estate attorney, he has closed on more than $2 Billion in commercial and residential transactions for thousands of clients.
With more than 30 years of experience as a deal making yet aggressive, results driven lawyer handling matters ranging from real estate transactions to major federal matters, Robb Heering is quite possibly one of most experienced, skilled, and creative deal making attorneys in the business.
