Peter Daniel Fearon

He was appointed to my case as a special public defender. He met and spoke with me once prior to giving me an offer of one year in jail and said no other offer would be better. He tried to intimidate me into accepting the offer but I declined and fired him. Reason I fired Peter Fearon was simple, he ...was my defense attorney and wrote me a one page letter stating the offer and all the evidence the state had against me. He also mistook me for the driver of the vehicle in his letter and brought up my motor history as more of a reason to accept their terrible offer. It was clear to me he didn’t take the time to read all the facts in the case. He also never mentioned one piece of evidence that could help me when there was plenty. Long story short I never spent a day in jail and got a lawyer who knows the 4th amendment(terry stop) and got the case dropped. I wouldn’t recommend having him on a paid case or as a public defender. His background as a police officer prior to becoming a lawyer and I believe that general bias police have is still deeply rooted in his heart!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!
