I was appreciative that he never tried to make my uncontested, amicable case more complicated than it needed to be, bu...t he made sure we understood at every stage what our rights were and what we were giving up if we waived them. (Kids make a CT divorce somewhat complicated no matter what.) He collaborated with me in creating unique custody and financial agreements my now former spouse and I are both happy with, that are as fair as any of us could make them. And with the former spouse & I both being absentminded professors, we were also glad Jeff and his partner Kristi kept the ball rolling when we kept dropping it.
