Biography
The Marcus Law Firm was founded in 1950 by Edward L. Marcus, with an emphasis on all facets of real estate law. Today, its partners and associates work together to keep the firm among the leading “boutique” law practices in Connecticut with clients nationwide. While the central focus of the firm has remained the same since its beginnings, it has expanded to include a full range of legal services with particular emphasis on banking, construction, prosecution and defense in foreclosures on mortgages and tax liens, real estate and commercial transactions. Nevertheless we also are a full service law firm which includes legal services from family law, divorce, wills and probate, personal injury and criminal law. While we certainly can provide the “one stop shopping” clients expect from a law firm, our firm is proud of our personalized approach to the provision of legal services that has set us apart within the legal community.
