also known as Matthew Sadler
Matthew F. Sadler, a native of Trumbull, spent his undergraduate years at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Government. Following graduation, he secured a position with Teach for America, where he taught kindergarten and third grade at Betsy Ross Elementary School on the south side of Chicago. After completing his two year commitment, he enrolled at Boston College Law School, graduating cum laude in 2007.

While at NVLSP, he was tapped to serve as project manager for NVLSP’s Volunteer Lawyers Project, mentoring dozens of pro bono counsel as they procured lay and medical evidence and drafted legal arguments for veterans’ cases at various stages of development and appeal. Attorney Sadler was also charged with planning and executing formal training for Service Officers of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and The American Legion on a plethora of topics including the VA claims process, developments in case law, and strategies for prosecuting claims.
Attorney Sadler’s practice focuses on personal injuries claims, workers compensation claims, and criminal defense.
He was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 2007, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in 2008, the United States Supreme Court in 2011, and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut in 2012.
He also has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Hartford’s Paralegal Studies Program.
