Reprimand issued in CT, 1987
updated on 11/02/2013A reprimand is an order from the Statewide Grievance Committee after it has found that an attorney has engaged in ethical misconduct. “My clients who were a young couple and first time home buyers were too aggressively represented as stated by our Statewide Grievance Authority (SWG). The sellers wouldn't give us the contractual required satisfactory septic system report. I threatened suit. We got the report! The non-client sellers were quite peeved and grieved me after the closing. SWG agreed with them. I am still upset 26 years later. ps. My clients still don't know about this from me. mrp”
