My great aunt hired her lawyer nephew to resolve my grandfathers estate. Is this conflict of interest. Should i petition?

It's not likely that it is a conflict, but it is very likely that the nephew is going to be giving his aunt a deal in the work.
If I sign over guardianship to my mother during a DCF investigation, does that terminate the investigation?

Just go to probate court. He will likely get you what you want before the first hearing, if he doesn't want to be bothered by the court.
