Stephen's Nonsensical "Review"

Stephen's "review" is incoherent and nonsensical for several reasons. Before I reach those reasons, it is important to note that, after researching our system, we do not have any client or former client by the name of "Stephen" that retained us for a loan modification and then a Chapter 13 as allege...d by this "Stephen". As for the bogus claims made in the review, loan modifications do NOT depend on credit scores. Thus, the alleged comments by the supposed mysterious broker friend is totally false. I refer you to makinghomeaffordable.gov. That is the official governmental site for modifications. The site has an eligibility questionaire to review, which notably does not even ask about credit scores (most folks needing this program have missed payments and do not have good credit; thus requiring good credit would defeat the purpose of the entire program, thus explaining why good credit is not required for a HAMP loan modification). Second, we do not charge ridiculous fees, such as $5,000 for loan modifications. Third, we do not charge $4,000 for Chapter 13's. Fourth, the standing Chapter 13 trustee has never required our clients to give up their homes when the client has a feasible plan to retain it. Finally, be mindful of folks who say they've had multiple lawyers work on their cases. It's an indication they have very unrealistic expectations, do not pay their lawyers, causing them to withdraw from the case, and/or worse. My firm has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. I am in good standing with The Florida Bar, with NO disciplinary action within the last ten years. Moreover, my firm's website, MyFloridaDebtRelief.com contains several modifications we obtained on behalf of our clients for review. Finally, the HAMP program is scheduled to end at the end of 2012. Do not waste time seeking one if you are serious about getting a loan modification. We would be happy to help you out.

Ignored and Disregarded by Lawyer

Hired lawyer to assist me with trying to save my home from foreclosure. Convinced me that first we should do a loan remodification on my home mortgage. Spent more than 10 months trying for it, only to be turned down (found out from a mortgage broker friend that with my credit score and debt/income it... was impossible to have gotten approved.) Anyway, after spending more than $5,000 for that failure, convinced me that now we should go BK 13. Another $4,000 later, I'm no better off - in fact, I'm now required, according to the bankruptcy Trustee, to GIVE UP my home - exactly what I did NOT want to happen!! If you want your intentions met, do NOT hire this lawyer. He does NOT seem to listen to his client's wishes.
