Back in 2009 I hired Mr. Cartier to fight for jurisdiction to have my divorce and custody case in CT. My husband at the time and kids were in Louisiana for 3 months temporarily while we had lived in CT for the past 4 years! My husband had the better lawyer who somehow was able to get Louisiana jurisd...iction for my case! I have spoken to other lawyers since and they all tell me that should have NEVER happened. The younger lawyer he was working with, I forget his name now, seemed to be more knowledgeable and was helping me. It has taken me years to fix the damage him losing jurisdiction cost me but I am well on my way, no thanks to him. Do NOT use this lawyer.
