About Michelle
Biography
My practice focuses primarily on the area of family law; including divorce, custody, and children’s probate court matters. I also handle real estate and business law matters. I earned a degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and attended Roger Williams University School of Law, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. After law school, I spent time as a clerk in the Connecticut Superior Court before joining a small general practice law firm where I spent nearly 10 years before opening my practice. I am a member of the Connecticut and Windham County Bar Associations. I am a past president of the Willimantic Rotary Club, and I currently serve on the board of the Northeast Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and as Chair of the Brooklyn Planning and Zoning Commission. I am an animal lover and an avid horsewoman, enjoying dressage and my American Quarter Horse.

I can understand why you would be upset when it doesn't feel like anything was accomplished with your case. I was under the (I now know mistaken) impression that you were planning to hire alternate counsel. That should have been handled better. Unfortunately, as I explained to you on the phone, while I was working for a law firm, my files were the property of that firm, so unfortunately I have no control over things like what amount is refunded to you.
