David Frederick Partridge

When it seemed as if we were giving up hope on obtaining a lawyer that we could afford, My son found Attorney David Partridge to represent him during a Criminal case in October 2011. Attorney Partridge seemed to be pleasant, caring and determined to prove my son's case. After obtaining Dave to repres...ent my son,It was very hard to get a hold of Attorney Partridge. When he did respond, it was via text messages, some times and email & an occasional phone call. During these few days, Attorney Partridge was late, A few days into the trial, Attorney Partridge claims to have hurt his back and court had been continued for a few days.Attorney Partridge told my son to sit tight & he would get back to him on the day he was at the hospital. Needless to say, the next day, I had to appear with my son at court, where the judge stated that she could have a warrant for my son's arrest for failure to appear. When trial was to begin again, the people that were to show for my son's defense, did not! Only 1 man did, his subpoena was in his doorway, he found it that morning.The others found their subpoena in their mail box later that day. I later found out that Attorney Partridge & his sister, which is also his secretary, hand delivered the subpoena's (On the evening of Martin Luther King Day, a Holiday) When attorney Partridge asked for a continuance, he was denied since he had plenty of time to prepare. Needless to say, my son is currently incarcerated. He is looking at 5-20 yrs. Attorney Partridge went to see him once & when I wasn't able to pay him the $500 a wk that my son was paying him, he wants to with draw himself from the case. Attorney Partridge knew that I me being a single mom, there was no way possible for me to pay him $500 wkly. When I brought this to his attention, his only response was not to worry about it because there is no way my son would spend a day in jail. My son has been incarcerated since Jan 18th, 2012. Attorney Partridge has only seen him the one day, does not return his phone calls and has had the court date continued. Attorney Partridge was paid almost $5000 to represent my son. After my son being incarcerated, the only time we heard from Dave was to ask for money. He was sent $200 for transcripts, that we also later found out that he never obtained. I would NOT recommend this lawyer to anyone. Please take your money and get a lawyer that is Truly going to Fight for you! Don't allow your Right to Defense be violated the same as my son's has been! The worst part is, my son and I trusted and believed that Dave was sincere and had my son's Best interest at heart, unfortunately, he did not.
