Michael R Kennedy

Mike Kennedy was born and raised in Cheshire, Connecticut, but now calls West Hartford his home. After graduating from Trinity College in 2008, where he was a member of the soccer team, Mike worked as a paralegal in the Bank Finance Practice Group for the multinational law firm White & Case, LLP before deciding to attend the University of Connecticut School of Law. At the University of Connecticut School of Law, he received the CALI Award for excellence, given to the student with the highest grade in the Criminal Law and Labor Law classes. He also enrolled in, and thoroughly enjoyed, John Houlihan’s trial advocacy class.

During his first year of legal education Mike began working as a law clerk for RisCassi & Davis. In between his second and third year he worked as a Summer Associate at Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP, a prominent Boston firm. Ultimately, Mike returned to RisCassi & Davis as a clerk and graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2012. He is excited to begin a long career helping those injured through no fault of their own. Mike is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford County Bar Association, American Association of Justice, and the American Bar Association.
