Shannon Kimberly McCarthy

My practice is focused on trial work, civil litigation, personal injury, real estate matters, probate, worker's compensation, insurance defense and collections for existing clients. 

I joined Kenny, Brimmer & Mahoney, LLC in 1997 as a law clerk and have been an attorney in the firm since my admission to the Connecticut Bar in 1998.  From 1994 through 1997, I worked as a paralegal for a solo practitioner located in East Lyme, Connecticut.  In 1994, I graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in History.  I also took part in a study abroad program during my junior year of college at the University College of Dublin, Ireland.

In 2010, I attained the highest possible rating of "AV" from Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys, indicating preeminent legal ability and the highest ethical standards in the practice of law and I continue to maintain this distinguished rating.
