Attorney Gerace was highly recommended so we thought we had the help we needed on our side. Boy were we wrong? First consult he told us he could do way better than the public defender and being that he was so highly recommended we TRUSTED him. He did not help us in any way. Was always in a rush and a...lmost always unavailable. We felt brushed off in every encounter. He did not advise us on any options but simply told us what we should do. we trusted he had our best interest as any one would do with their hired counsel but we shortly found out that wasn’t the case here. Attorney Gerace took our money and ended up doing nothing more than the public defender had already done. Now we are left with not only no money left to hire different counsel, having to deal with an lengthy, unfortunate outcome, that we now know for a fact could have been much brighter but also the distrust in attorneys. I hired Attorney Gerace to represent me in a criminal matter. Gerace handed my case over to his associate, Jeremy Donnelly, who was inexperienced at best, and did a poor job of representation. He waited too long in filing my appeal and therefore the appeal was denied. Another of my claims was deni...ed by the appellate court because Attorney Donnelly failed to bring up the matter at my original hearing. Attorney Gerace also refused to provide me with transcripts of my hearings for which I had paid, until I filed a complaint with the grievance committee. Attorney Gerace greatly overcharged me for his services, lied on several occasions, and failed to keep me informed of developments.. Do yourselves a favor and hire another attorney.

I hired Bill when I was 18 for a severe charge that I was innocent of. But before I hired him I hired another lawyer who was highly recommended in that area. After paying him a fortune and wasting a year and 8 court dates I fired him and hired gerace. He made a simple phone call and I did a 10 hou...r class and it was done with. Then we went to Hartford and he got the judge to drop all those charges which were most of my severe ones. He had me scared but didn't give me anyour false hope. He did better than I could have expected. I was able to resume my life. I got half my cash back. Other half we let them have to avoid the government. They also took my vehicles and he got them back for me. He has gotten my cousin off of numerous dui charges. He is worth every dollar
