My practice includes patent prosecution, intellectual property licensing, U.S. government contracting, copyright and trademark enforecment as well as litigation. I formerly held executive and senior management positions with Northeast Utilities, ABB, and Combustion Engineering with responsibility for energy-related technology and research and development. I have more than 25 years experience in energy generation including nuclear power, fuel cells and fossil power; environment issues and energy conservation; electro-mechanical devices; manufacturing, welding and metal fabrication; research and development; and due diligence and portfolio management. I also hold patents for diagnostic and data acquisition systems. I successfully represented an entrepreneur through the patent prosecution process and through subsequent licensing negotiations with in-house counsel in the United States and Germany.  Participates in merger and acquisition work, entertainment law, business entity formation (e.g., tee-shirt companies) and medical device technologies.
