OUTCOME: Success.

My client, Mr. Velez, worked as a Corrections Officer when he was injured during an altercation in June of 2013. He injured his back and hip, and he suffered from PTSD. One of the issues at his For ... mal Hearing (trial) that took place in April 2016 was whether workers' compensation should cover use of medical marijuana for his PTSD. We won on this issue so that Mr. Velez may now have his medical marijuana paid and covered by workers' compensation.
