Biography
At J. DiMauro Law, we draw upon a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to provide our clients with services in Tax Law, Estate Planning, and Elder Law. Attorney Joseph D. DiMauro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Quinnipiac School of Law, and an LL.M. (Masters in Tax Law) from Boston University School of Law. He frequently holds seminars on Tax Law, Estate Planning, and Asset Protection.
Joe is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Tax Section, American Bar Association Tax Section, Admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Federal District Court of Connecticut, and the United States Tax Court.
Attorney Joe DiMauro represents taxpayers before the IRS and State Taxing Agencies. Some of his clients cases include compromising tax debts, defending civil and criminal fraud allegations, providing assistance to innocent spouses, audit representations, voluntary disclosure programs for non-filers, stop, prevent, or reverse garnishments or levies, and a vast of other resolutions.

Asset protection strategies may require the use of Trusts, Limited Liability Companies, Will, or Deeds. Title 19 approval
Both of my elderly parents were placed in nursing homes they could not afford on their own. Joe worked with me to get through all of the paperwork the state required to get them accepted for state aid under title 19. Without his help I would never have gotten through the process.
