Attorney Spurling has counseled clients and represented clients in courts for 23 years and is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of Connecticut and state courts of Connecticut and Massachusetts. He has an active practice with an emphasis on business and real estate transactions while having performed legal work for more than 100 financial institutions, including Fortune 500 companies. Attorney Spurling has represented businesses in formation, acquisitions, sales and litigation.
He also has been a professor of law at a flagship university since 2003 teaching business law and real estate law. His legal experience coupled with his teaching experience allows him to bring anectodal experiences into his client relationships. Attorney Spurling is a co-recipient of a teaching excellence award, and has been recognized numerous times by the University Provost for teaching excellence.
