I want to share what I wrote to Bill below the day after my sentencing. All I can say is Bill is much more than an attorney and he has set the bar high. Hey Bill Thank you so much for yesterday and being a true support through this process. I don’t think I would have gotten through this with out... your constant support and help, you are a true gentleman and one of the fairest people I have ever met. I can never repair you for being who you are. Thank you, my wife thanks you, my boys thank you as does my family. I kept telling my wife that it would be a huge relief and today would be so much better as you told me and it is certainly true.

I cannot say enough about Bill Paetzold re: his defense of our teenage son. After being told by another attorney that the situation would be grim, we jumped over to Bill after he was recommended to us by a friend who used to work as a lawyer in the area. Our son received quite a bit of community s...ervice (which was good - he needed a consequence) but in the end, the case was dismissed, so there will be no long-term consequences hanging over his head as he goes forward. So, yes, Bill is a wonderful attorney. But just as impressive, he is an incredibly kind and caring man. Our son had never been in any trouble but, because of one very foolish decision, he found himself in serious trouble. Bill was honest and straight-forward with all of us, but remained attentive and compassionate as well. He gave our son a bit of a talking to about his future (which I loved!) but was never condescending toward him. Our son listened hard as he respected Bill immediately. When it was all over, Bill sent a partial refund because he hadn't logged all the hours we'd paid for in the initial retainer. First rate lawyer. First rate guy.
