Melissa E. Osborne

Melissa Osborne practices primarily in the area of family and matrimonial law.  She approaches each case with the goal of cooperation and collaboration, but when called upon to address areas of serious contention, she is a seasoned litigator with exceptional advocacy skills, whether to rein in a high-conflict party or to uncover and protect hidden assets.  She is experienced in crafting financial settlements and parenting plans that work for families.  As a boutique practice, Melissa provides unparalleled responsiveness to clients and a personal touch.  She understands that divorce is hard and is here to help.

In addition to her law practice, Attorney Osborne is also the State Representative for the 16th House District, where she serves as a member of the Judiciary Committee.  She is a member of the Hartford County, Simsbury Regional, and Connecticut Bar Associations, as well as the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce.  She has been in active practice for 26 years. Attorney Osborne has a B.S. in Political Science and Economics from Hunter College and a Law Degree from New York Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude.
