Levesque v. Androscoggin County
Sep 23, 2011OUTCOME: Defense verdict
Plaintiff correctional officer sued county jail employer alleging sexual harrassment, retaliation and constructive discharge. She claimed that jail administration permitted harrassment, and retaliated ... against her when she reported the conduct. Eventually, she alleged, the circumstances became so unbearable that she was forced to quit. The County responded that she was not the subject of unlawful sexual harrassment, and that all of the actions she claimed were retaliation were actually legitimate workplace requirements for her safety and that of the inmates that she supervised.
