Tim began practicing law in 2018 after several years spent working in hospitality. He was born and raised in Southwest Harbor, and is a graduate of Mount Desert Island High School. He attended the University of Maine at Orono, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of several honors fraternities, including Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. Before, during, and after attending law school, Tim was the assistant general manager of the historic Claremont Hotel, where he enjoyed meeting people from around the world and took charge of roughly 30 staff members each season. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Bar Harbor, and enjoys volunteering in Acadia National Park with his wife, Rebecca, as well as spending time with his local extended family, many of which still reside on and around MDI.
